Board skins are where you design the look of a board. One board can have multiple designs (skins). For example, a board model might be available in a thruster or quad setup, or a customer may want to see various options for sprays or logo configurations on their new board.
There are two categories of boards - board models and custom boards. Board models can have multiple aku files to display a range of size variations and designs, whereas custom boards display one board variation and are attached to a customer.
Simple renders display a clearcut board with a transparent background, whereas studio renders have multiple background and view options to display boards in a realistic setting.
Board templates are a huge time saver for designing boards. You can save a board skin as a template then reuse the skin on other boards rather than starting from scratch every time.
Website packs are downloadable zip files intended for use on a website.
It includes, simple and studio renders, 3d files, board outlines, logos and text documents.
If you want to upload your own board rather than using a sample board, you will need to upload a surfboard CAD file from AkuShaper (.brd) or Shape3D (.s3dx). The manufacturer and craftsman plans allow multiple cad files to be attached to each custom board and board model.
This is a feature of the manufacturer plan that allows you to run two seperate brands from one account. This feature allows you to swap brand name and logo when you are sharing boards with customers.
